Model Sketch- Instruments

Sam made these sketches after long discussions with metal fabricators who specialize in large construction art projects. The input from the structural engineer will also play a key factor. The double helix spiral banding (not shown in these diagrams) will connect the instruments and provide stability. The instruments will be arranged on the viewing platform in a triangular pattern.

The instruments have no tops. You will see the sky through them. The "F holes" in this fiddle are solid whereas in a regular fiddle they are holes- sound holes.
